Dogs are welcome but must stay leashed and under control at all times — under Clark County Code 10.36.040 it is a misdemeanor to willfully take a dog into a public place without a leash.
Whitney Mesa Recreation Area and Nature Preserve is a free city park in Henderson, Nevada. It is an open, unfenced area, so dogs need to stay on a leash. Amenities include seating and paved walking paths. Open daily 6:00 am – 11:00 pm.
