Low-Cost Microchip Clinic – Fernley

Fernley Animal Control is hosting its final microchip clinic of 2026 on Saturday, September 26, giving local pet owners an affordable way to add a permanent form of identification for their animals. The walk-in clinic runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fernley City Hall, 595 Silver Lace Blvd., and no appointment is required. Every pet is welcome, with microchips available for $15 cash or a donation of one unopened, unexpired 10-pound bag of pet food.

This is the last scheduled clinic of the year, with the October, November and December clinics canceled for the holidays. If you can’t make it, Fernley Animal Control also offers microchipping by appointment; call 775-784-9803 to schedule.
