Pumpkins, pups and a little something to sip are coming together for an afternoon of fall fun at Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas. The rescue is hosting Paws, Pumpkins & Puptails on October 3, turning its Spring Valley space into a festive fundraiser filled with food, games, prizes and plenty of opportunities to capture the moment with your dog.

From photo booths and fall props to raffles and a bougie pup pub, the afternoon is designed to be as much about having fun with your four-legged companion as it is about raising money for rescue.

Fall Fun With Your Dog

Paws, Pumpkins & Puptails will have something happening around every corner, including games for $2 per round, with the top three winners taking home raffle prizes. A trunk packed with props will also be available for anyone looking to create some appropriately over-the-top fall photos.

Smaller dogs are part of the festivities, too. Admission is free for dogs under 15 pounds, while adult admission applies to human guests.

Fun That Helps Rescue Dogs

While the pumpkins and puptails provide the entertainment, the afternoon has a bigger purpose. All proceeds benefit Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas and its work helping dogs find their way to new homes.

The rescue’s reach can extend well beyond the Las Vegas Valley. DFLV previously spoke with Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas about its work bringing dogs to Nevada, including dogs flown in from thousands of miles away. Paws, Pumpkins & Puptails takes place October 3 at 5802 Stoneborough Street in Spring Valley. RSVPs are required, including your dog’s name, so organizers can plan for enough food, drinks and goodie bags for the afternoon.
