Paws in Paradise Brings a Tropical Twist to FUPI’s Annual Fundraiser
Published September 25, 2026
Trade the Las Vegas desert for a little island spirit when Foreclosed Upon Pets, Inc. (FUPI) hosts its 17th annual fundraiser. This year, the rescue is turning the evening into “Paws in Paradise,” a Hawaiian-themed celebration where tropical attire is encouraged and helping rescue animals is the reason to celebrate.
The October 4 event at The Center includes dinner, beer and wine, raffles and a silent auction, making it a full evening out while raising money for an all-volunteer rescue that helps dogs and cats throughout Southern Nevada.
Dinner, Drinks And A Little Island Spirit
Guests can lean into the theme with tropical attire while enjoying dinner and a beer and wine bar included with admission. Raffle prizes and silent auction items add some friendly competition to the evening, with proceeds supporting FUPI’s rescue work.
For those planning to make a night of it with friends, full tables are also available, making the fundraiser a chance to gather a group for dinner while supporting animals.
The Rescue Behind The Celebration
FUPI operates as a foster-based rescue, meaning dogs and cats are cared for in volunteer homes while they wait for adoption. The organization also showcases adoptable animals through adoption events and cat condos at PetSmart.
That foster model depends on people willing to open their homes and help animals along the way, making the annual fundraiser about more than one evening. It’s also a chance to learn more about FUPI’s work and ways to get involved, including fostering and volunteering.
Paws in Paradise takes place October 4 at The Center, 401 S. Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas. General admission is $65 and includes dinner, beer and wine, with raffle tickets and full tables also available.
