Downtown Summerlin will announce the 13 dogs chosen for its 2027 Dogs of Downtown Summerlin calendar on Friday, October 2, on social media.

Entries closed Wednesday, and judges were scheduled to pick the winners that same day.

The calendar, now in its ninth year, features one dog for each month plus a cover model.

Entrants had to post a photo of their dog at Downtown Summerlin on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #DogsofDTS27 and follow both Downtown Summerlin and Summerlin on social media.

Selected dogs will need to be available for a professional photo shoot on October 12 or 13. Owners who entered should watch the contest’s social media pages for the announcement.

The 2027 calendars go on sale in November at the concierge desk at Downtown Summerlin, under the breezeway at One Summerlin. Purchases are made as a donation.

Proceeds support the Mayor’s Fund for Las Vegas Life, which helps provide pet services and lodging for people experiencing homelessness.

They also benefit Courtroom Critters, a group that brings specially trained dogs to support victims and witnesses dealing with trauma, anxiety, or PTSD.
