Published October 9, 2026
Nevada SPCA will host its sixth annual Neon Dog Walk on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Silverado Ranch Park, according to FOX5 Las Vegas. The fundraiser aims to raise $125,000 for homeless pets in Southern Nevada.
Gates and registration open at 3 PM, the walk begins at 4 PM, and the festivities continue until 7 PM. The park is at 9855 Gillespie St. in Las Vegas.
Registration costs $35 per person, and children 12 and under are free. Every registered participant receives a commemorative 2026 Neon Dog Walk T-shirt and a wag bag while supplies last.
Participants are invited to wear neon attire for the walk, which is presented by Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas. Dogs must be friendly, current on vaccinations, and on a leash for the entire event.

After the walk, the Neon Village will offer agility dog demonstrations, a chance for pups to make their own nose art, and custom pet portraits from Pretty Done. Registration and full details are available on the Nevada SPCA website.
Proceeds support the shelterβs medical care, enrichment, and adoption services. Nevada SPCA Executive Director Lori Heeren has called the walk βone of our favorite community traditions.β
The shelter has had a busy few weeks. Golden Knights star Mitch Marner recently launched Points for Paws to feed Nevada SPCA pets, which gives fans another way to help the animals in its care.
