Chihuahua Rescue Truckee Meadows November Adoption Day

A little dog could be the perfect pick-me-up, no cappuccino required! Chihuahua Rescue Truckee Meadows is celebrating National Cappuccino Day with an adoption event featuring small dogs looking for loving homes. Meet the adoptable pups, chat with their foster families and learn more about their personalities to see whether one might be the right fit for your family.

The event takes place Sunday, November 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at PetSmart, 255 Los Altos Parkway in Spanish Springs. The rescue uses a lottery system: arrive at 11 a.m. to draw a number for the opportunity to enter the play yard and meet available dogs. Arriving early offers no advantage, as everyone participating at opening has an equal chance. The outdoor event is weather-dependent, so check the rescue’s Facebook page or website for updates before heading out.
