Dog Parks Near the Las Vegas Strip
Near the Strip, you'll find a mix of dog-friendly parks that cater to every need. There are off-leash areas where your four-legged friend can run free, socialize with other dogs, and enjoy a burst of energy in a fenced setting. At the same time, several open spaces require leashes, ensuring a calm, controlled environment for both you and your pet as you soak in the local atmosphere.
Keep in mind that all dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than three feet long in all open areas in Clark County. Dogs can only be let off the leash in Gated Dog Parks or privately-owned areas that permit it (like a Private Dog Park or someone’s yard). Possible penalties for violating this rule include up to $1,000 in fines and/or up to six months in jail.
Something else worth remembering is that it’s hot in Las Vegas, so consider taking your dog for a walk earlier in the day to avoid the worst of the heat, when the ground is hottest on their pads. Plenty of the Dog Parks have fresh water facilities, but always pack your own just in case. And we recommend viewing one with a shaded area to escape the heat.
