Nevada SPCA’s 5th Annual Neon Dog Walk Returns

Mark your calendars and grab your glow gear,  Nevada SPCA’s 5th Annual Neon Dog Walk is set for Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Silverado Ranch Park. This colorful, tail-wagging tradition is more than just a walk in the park — it’s one of the organization’s biggest and most important fundraisers of the year, helping to save the lives of thousands of animals right here in Southern Nevada.

Event Details Lighting Up Silverado Ranch Park

When gates open at 3 p.m., the park will transform into the lively Neon Village, complete with music, entertainment, a beer garden, food trucks, and an array of pet-friendly vendors. Registered participants not only get to join the walk, which kicks off at 4 p.m., but will also take home a commemorative Neon Dog Walk T-shirt and a “wag bag” filled with goodies. Whether you’re there to stroll alongside hundreds of fellow dog lovers or just to soak in the festive atmosphere, there’s something for every two- and four-legged guest.

While this is a dog-friendly event, safety is a top priority. All canine participants must be friendly, current on vaccinations, and leashed at all times. The funds raised — through registration fees, donations, and sponsorships — go directly toward providing medical care for sick and injured animals and supporting Nevada SPCA’s ongoing mission to reduce pet homelessness and animal suffering in Southern Nevada.

Neon Walk History

The Neon Dog Walk has become an exciting local tradition since its launch in 2020. In 2024, the event drew over 500 attendees and raised more than $100,000, funding lifesaving treatments, shelter improvements, and community outreach programs (source). Each year, it not only brings the community together but also shines a colorful light on the needs of local pets waiting for their forever homes.
