Barx Parx Foundation Brings Back “Cash for a Splash” Fundraiser With a Playful Twist for a Serious Cause

The Barx Parx Foundation is bringing back its 3rd Annual “Cash for a Splash” event, a community-driven fundraiser where generosity quite literally comes with a splash of chaos — in the best way possible.

Running now through June 4, the event invites the public to donate toward a playful but impactful goal: deciding which Barx Parx staff member will end up getting drenched at the main event on June 5.

A Fundraiser Where Your Donation Makes a Splash

Here’s how it works. For every $100 raised, a bucket of water is poured over the staff member who has received the most votes. Donors who contribute a full $100 also get the honor of personally doing the dumping — turning a simple donation into a very memorable moment.

It’s part playful competition, part community event, and entirely rooted in supporting local animal welfare.

The “splashing” finale will take place Friday, June 5 at 5:00 PM outside the Barx Parx main entrance, where supporters can gather to watch the results unfold in real time.
