Fromm Family Foods has recalled two canned wet dog food products after receiving complaints that they may contain metal, and the brand is sold at multiple pet stores across the Las Vegas Valley.

The recall covers 3,852 cases of Fromm Turkey Pâté Wet dog food and 1,973 cases of Fromm Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté Wet dog food, according to a notice posted on the [FDA’s website](https://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts/fromm-family-foods-voluntarily-recalls-turkey-pate-wet-food-dogs-and-diner-classic-milos-meatloaf).

Both products carry a best-by date of 032029.

The turkey variety has UPC 072705118700 and lot code EP2A3306 551006, while the meatloaf version has UPC 072705132324 and lot code EP2A3306 551029.

Fromm said the affected food was sold through neighborhood pet stores and online retailers nationwide, and the Wisconsin-based company confirmed no other Fromm products are included in the recall.

Local pet owners can find Fromm products at Las Vegas Valley retailers including Pet Supplies Plus on South Rainbow Boulevard, Piggy Tails Pet Spa & More, and Dog Supplies Outlet in northwest Las Vegas.

No illnesses or injuries had been reported as of the recall announcement, but the company said dogs that swallow metal can show symptoms including choking, vomiting, loss of appetite, lethargy, or stomach discomfort.

Sharp pieces of metal can also cause lacerations in a dog’s mouth or gastrointestinal tract.

Owners who bought the recalled products are urged to stop feeding them to their dogs and return them to the store of purchase.

Consumers with questions can contact Fromm at 1-800-325-6331, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central time, or by emailing info@frommfamily.com.

This is the second dog food recall we’ve tracked this month, following an [earlier recall of Oma’s Pride raw dog food](https://dogfriendlylasvegas.com/dog-news/local-dog-news/raw-dog-food-sold-in-nevada-recalled-over-salmonella-contamination/) sold in Nevada over salmonella contamination.

Pet owners can check the FDA’s pet food recall list directly for updates on both recalls and any future notices.
