- Coco
Those names reflect broader national trends. Bella remains one of the most popular dog names in the country, ranking No. 1 overall, while Luna continues its run as a favorite among dog owners nationwide.
The popularity of Bella and Luna is not surprising. Both names have a familiar, friendly sound, and Luna’s connection to the moon gives it a little extra personality, especially fitting for dogs who enjoy evening walks when the Las Vegas summer heat finally starts to fade.
Coco also continues to be a popular choice across the country, bringing a little sweetness and style to any dog wearing the name. It is a name that could fit everything from a tiny lap dog with a big personality to a larger pup who believes they are the most glamorous dog in the room.

Names like Loki, Zeus, Thor, Apollo, Athena, Duke, Princess, and King all appear among the nation’s most popular choices. Pop culture continues to influence naming trends as well, with names inspired by characters from Disney, animated series, and beloved movies making the list.
And yes, food-inspired names remain a favorite. Oreo, Honey, Pepper, Cookie, Peanut, Ginger, and Latte all prove that sometimes the perfect dog name is also something you might find in your kitchen.
