Beat the Midweek Slump With a Little Zumba for Street Dogz

Published September 16, 2026

By Wednesday, the week can start to feel like it’s moving in slow motion. The weekend is still a couple of days away, the to-do list hasn’t gotten any shorter and your motivation may need a little help. A free Zumba class with a side of giving back could be just the midweek reset you need.

Street Dogz is hosting Dance for a Cause on Thursday, September 24th, at EOS Fitness on South Rainbow Boulevard. The all-levels class is a chance to get moving, celebrate a birthday and support an organization that works to help people and their pets.

Come For The Dancing, Stay For The Cause

You don’t need to be a Zumba regular — or particularly coordinated — to join in. The free class is open to all skill levels, making it more about moving, having fun and getting through the week than perfecting every step.

Street Dogz will also have a donation table at the event for anyone who wants to bring supplies for dogs and cats. And while your four-legged dance partner may be disappointed, this one is for the humans, so pups should stay home.

A Midweek Way To Help Street Dogz

Street Dogz works to keep pets and the people who love them together by helping address some of the challenges that can put that relationship at risk. Its work includes providing support and resources for people with pets who may be facing difficult circumstances.

That makes a dance class a pretty fun way to contribute: show up, move around for an hour and a half, and, if you can, bring along something useful for a dog or cat in need.

Consider it a midweek slump buster with a little extra purpose.
