Hungry Hounds Fantasy Football League Gives SNBRF Fans a Chance to Compete for a Cause

Published September 2, 2026

Fantasy football season is kicking off with a rescue twist as Southern Nevada Beagle Rescue Foundation (SNBRF) launches Hungry Hounds, a fantasy football league where the buy-in helps dogs in need.

For $50, participants can join the competition, build their fantasy roster and enjoy the rivalries, trash talk and bragging rights that come with the season, while knowing their entry fee goes directly toward SNBRF’s needs.

Fantasy Football for a Good Cause

The league will run on Sleeper with half-point scoring and is planned for 14 teams. If enough people are interested, SNBRF says a second league may be added.

Entry fees will help the rescue cover expenses ranging from medical bills to supplies, giving participants a way to turn their football fandom into tangible support for dogs.

Draft Day Is Coming

The draft date is still being finalized, but SNBRF expects it to take place over Labor Day weekend.
