Looking for a fun activity for the kids that celebrates their love of dogs? July 8th and 9th, Rubens Woodcraft and Toys in historic Boulder City is offering a puppy-themed summer art class where young artists can create their own watercolor puppy portrait.

 

The locally owned specialty toy and custom woodcraft shop regularly hosts hands-on art experiences, giving families another opportunity to enjoy a creative outing while supporting a small Southern Nevada business.

 

## Paint Your Own Puppy Masterpiece

 

This week’s featured project is a directed puppy drawing on canvas board, customized with watercolor. Participants will be guided through the project while adding their own creative touches, leaving with a finished piece of artwork to take home.

 

The class is open to artists of all skill levels and costs $10 per participant.
