Howl-O-Ween at CAPS

Fallon’s Churchill Animal Protection Society is getting into the Halloween spirit with a morning of activities for pets, their people and shelter animals. Start with an open pack walk at 9 a.m., where you can bring your own dog or walk a CAPS shelter dog, followed by a pet costume contest with prizes for the best pet and best pet-and-owner costumes.

The festivities continue with Halloween pet photos from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for $10, plus a special adoption opportunity with 50% off all adoption fees on October 10. The event takes place at CAPS, 5894 Pasture Rd. in Fallon, giving you plenty of ways to have some Halloween fun while supporting animals looking for homes.
