Remember: Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than three feet long in all open areas in Las Vegas. Dogs can be let off the leash and are able to run free in Gated Dog Parks.

It's a misdemeanor under Clark County Code 10.36.040 to willingly take a dog in public without a leash. Possible penalties include up to $1,000 in fines and/or up to 6 months in jail.
