Golf to Give at These Two Tournaments Supporting Animal Rescue

Are you a cynophile golfer? It’s not nearly as horrific as it sounds, but we couldn’t resist starting with it! Cynophile is a term derived from a Greek word describing someone who loves or has a fondness for dogs, so if you’re fond of dogs and love to golf, we have a few events coming up that may just be for you.
Siena Golf Club has partnered with two local animal rescues to host events April 26th & June 1st that benefit animals in need. If you haven’t visited before, Siena Golf Club stands out within Las Vegas’s top courses, offering a perfect blend of challenging play and breathtaking views. Nestled in the foothills of the Spring Mountains, it’s known for its meticulously maintained greens and fairways.
April 26th, Vegas Pet Rescue Project is hosting their 5th Annual Putts for Rescue Mutts Charity Golf Tournament at the course and the event promises to be exceptional. Benefitting VPRP animals, they offer rates per individual golfer or per foursome. Breakfast as well as a smokehouse grill BBQ lunch will be available in addition to the Tito’s sampling bar. Closest to pin, hole in one and longest drive comps, great raffles, silent auctions and adoptable dogs will be available while you enjoy music after your round as well as other planned perks. June 1st, The Animal Network invites you to their 10th Annual Play Fore Paws Golf Tournament which also is expected to be an event not to be missed. With proceeds from the event to benefit the homeless animals of Animal Network the tournament offers per-person pricing with side game options available for purchase as well. Included in registration beyond the rounds of golf will be cart, awards luncheon and free drinks on the course. With side games being offered, raffle prizes and tournament prizes, it’s worth registering early. The dog homelessness crisis in Las Vegas has reached concerning levels, with the number of homeless pets continuing to climb YOY. Through their tireless efforts organizations such as Animal Network and VPRP do all they can to rescue, rehabilitate, foster, re-home and care for animals in need while supporting owners and the community in any way they can.
