Join Paws Patrol LV’s Frenchman Mountain Wash Clean-Up on March 9th

Paws Patrol LV is extending a heartfelt plea for volunteers to join their clean-up efforts at Frenchman Mountain Wash on March 9th. This call to action comes in the wake of a tragic discovery in January, where numerous animals were found abandoned or deceased in the area. Among these were not only dogs but a range of animals, spanning from young puppies to older pets. This distressing find was highlighted by Fox 5 News Las Vegas in January, underscoring the need for community involvement to restore the area and pay respect to the lost souls.

Volunteers are crucial to this effort, as it is believed there may still be animal remains in the vicinity. Participants are asked to bring essential supplies such as gloves, shovels, and trash bags to aid in the clean-up. This initiative offers a chance for the community to come together, honor the memory of these animals, and ensure the wash is safe and clean for future visitors. We’re certain Paws Patrol LV appreciates any time you can spare with a collective effort, volunteers can make a significant impact.

Animal dumping is a concerning issue across the United States, with countless abandoned or killed animals found in various locations every year. These dumping grounds often serve as tragic reminders of neglect and abandonment, leading to the suffering or death of innocent pets. Volunteers and animal welfare organizations play a vital role in addressing this crisis by not only cleaning up these areas but also raising awareness about the importance of responsible pet ownership and humane treatment of animals.

If you’re in need of help for your pet, need to rehome or surrender your pet, please contact one of the many rescues listed on our site or visit your local dog shelter.

Together, we can work towards a future where no animal is left behind.
