Pet Vendors Show Spirit of Pet Community at Saturday Event

If you’ve been following our journey on The Scoop, you know this past weekend was packed with pet-friendly fun as we popped into events all around the city. After enjoying the charm of Spring Fling and the playful energy of Paws in Charge’s Eggstravaganza, we weren’t quite ready to call it a day. With our pup full of pep and the sunshine still calling, we headed to Paws-N-Paradise to explore more of what the local pet scene had to offer, and catch up with some of our favorite vendors.
Rolling into Cornerstone Park, we were still riding the high of the morning’s festivities. The weather had turned from brisk to blazing by midday, and the event space was set in a wide circle of vendor booths, with a few splashy kiddie pools and pup-centric play stations at the center. Though we didn’t catch any of the scheduled parades or demos mentioned in the listings (they may have wrapped before we arrived, or we just missed them while browsing), the energy on the field was still bright and community driven.
The real highlight? The vendors and organizations that continue to make our pet scene in Las Vegas so special.
Las Vegas UrgentVet was on-site, sharing helpful info about their extended-hours care services. Much like Instacare for humans, UrgentVet offers responsive, after-hours attention for our four-legged friends, something every pet parent should have on their radar.
We were also happy to run into Doggie District, representing their Silverado location (one of several in town!). This full-service pet resort offers daycare, boarding, grooming, and training, plus some value-packed packages for regular visitors. Bonus: we’d already stopped by a different location earlier in the day, and the service is consistently top-notch.
Our treat-loving roadie was in heaven thanks to vendors like our Pawtner High 5 Dog Treats, with their wildly popular vegan goodies. Camp Bow Wow brought the fun too, handing out treats and tail wags while talking about their daycare and grooming services. The team at 702Raw was busy each time we went by so we’re sure their healthy raw food options were a hit as well.
We loved connecting with rescue groups and nonprofits doing good in the community, FOHAS (Friends of Henderson Animal Shelter) had a great setup where supporters could shop and give back, and Pawsitive Difference Pet Rescue had some incredibly adoptable pups (including one with ninja-level cage-climbing skills) who stole the show.

Some standout stops included Zoomin Groomin, who shared exciting updates on their mobile grooming services and sneak peeks into upcoming launches; Little Luck Boutique, with an incredible conversation about issues impacting dog welfare in the area and to review their offerings which were packed with stylish finds for pups and their people; and LVK9, who kindly reminded us that our beloved Roadie might still have a few skills to master.
One of our favorite surprises was discovering Big Bully Turf, a brand inspired by an adorable bulldog named Waffles. Their pet-proof turf is designed with real dogs (and dog messes!) in mind, and definitely something to check out if you’re tired of patchy lawns and muddy paws.
So while the day may have been a little warmer (and less structured) than expected, the Paws-N-Paradise event was still a win in our book. With so many passionate vendors, rescues, and pet professionals on hand, it was a heartwarming reminder of how strong and spirited the Las Vegas pet community really is.
