There’s a non-refundable pet fee of $100 per night, plus a $100 refundable nightly deposit to cover potential incidents.

Dog-friendly rooms are located in specific areas of the hotel, and it’s important to confirm availability in advance if you’re traveling with pets. Included with your stay are a few basic pet amenities: waste bags, food and water dishes, treats, and a pet mat. While dogs are welcome in your room and in designated pet areas, they are not allowed in restaurants, the pool, spa, casino, or fitness center.

There is only one pet relief area at Caesars Palace, located about a three-minute walk from the main lobby. The area is small, but gated. However, the gate did not latch properly on our visit and there was a distinct odor in the area. There was also an umbrella stand for some shade when it’s overly hot.

What the Hotel Itself Is Like

Caesars Palace is a full-scale Vegas experience all on its own. With nearly 4,000 rooms and a massive campus of towers, shops, and venues, it’s more like a small city than a hotel. It’s home to The Forum Shops — a high-end mall that feels like a Roman street scene — as well as the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis, a sprawling pool complex that includes seven separate pools.

Caesars also boasts some of the most famous dining spots in Vegas, including Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen, Nobu, Restaurant Guy Savoy, and Pronto by Giada. Entertainment is front and center here too, with The Colosseum hosting big-name residencies from artists like Adele and Sting.

Rooms vary across different towers in style and price, but most offer spacious layouts, marble bathrooms, and upscale finishes. Whether you’re staying in the Augustus Tower with Strip views or a Nobu Hotel suite tucked inside the resort, you’ll find plenty of comfort and convenience — just be sure to let them know you’re traveling with a dog when you book.

What to Expect When Traveling With a Dog Here

Bringing a dog to Caesars Palace is definitely possible, but it comes with a few considerations. The hotel is enormous, and with only one pet relief area located three minutes from the lobby, the walk can feel long if you’re staying farther into the property. Requesting a room close to the lobby — or at least on the most direct route to the relief area — is highly recommended.

The Strip itself presents additional challenges, including intense heat during summer and limited grass or shaded areas. You’ll want to take your dog out during cooler hours and bring along water, paw protection, and waste bags.

If your dog needs more room to play or stretch their legs, Sunset Park and Barkin’ Basin Dog Park are both within a short drive and offer large, fenced-in areas with shade and seating — perfect for off-leash time or just a more relaxed outdoor experience.
