Heroes Night with Las Vegas K9 Crew Rescue Brings Sports and Giving Together

Heroes Night returns on March 28 at Lee’s Family Forum, combining professional lacrosse with a meaningful giveback to the community. Hosted during the Las Vegas Desert Dogs game, the evening honors local law enforcement, active-duty military, veterans, and first responders, while also supporting Las Vegas K9 Crew Rescue through special ticket purchases that directly benefit the organization.
Support Rescue Dogs Through Your Ticket
A portion of each ticket purchased through the designated offer goes back to Las Vegas K9 Crew Rescue, helping fund their ongoing efforts to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need. It’s a simple way for attendees to turn a night out into direct support for local animal welfare.
Pre-Game Tailgate and Fan Experience
The event kicks off early with Big Dog’s Tailgate Party, featuring drink specials, a live DJ, a kids zone, and a Touch-A-Truck experience with local law enforcement. Fans can also catch NCAA basketball on the big screen before heading inside for the game, creating a full evening of entertainment beyond the main event.
Protect Your Pet with Odie Pet Insurance
Odie offers customizable pet insurance and wellness plans that help cover vet bills for accidents, illnesses, and routine care.
On the Field and Beyond
The game itself includes the return of the first responders’ halftime dodgeball game, adding an extra layer of energy and community involvement. The first 2,500 attendees will receive a commemorative dog tag, and the night continues after the final whistle with an official after-party at Voodoo Lounge at the Rio.
Why It Matters
Heroes Night blends sports, community recognition, and animal rescue into one event, giving attendees multiple ways to engage — whether cheering on the home team, honoring local heroes, or supporting dogs in need through their ticket purchase. Tickets are available until 6 p.m. on the 28th.
