A Las Vegas dog known for documenting dog-friendly spots across the valley is now a finalist for Nevada’s “Best in State” title in the Pet Lovers Choice Awards, and public voting closes this Thursday.
Marley, the bobtail dog behind the Instagram account @bumblybobtail, reached the finals after competing against more than 600 dogs statewide across two rounds of public voting.
The competition spans all 50 states and sends state winners to a national ceremony in Los Angeles.

Owner Danielle Dunker said the account started as a way to help other dog owners find places to go with their pets.
“We originally started sharing Marley’s adventures just to help people find more places they could enjoy with their dogs,” reports the Las Vegas Sun.
“Seeing the Las Vegas community support her like this and potentially help her represent Nevada nationally is so rewarding.”
Marley’s posts have taken her to Aviators Bark on the Berm nights, doggy fashion shows, pool parties, and adoption events throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
Her content has helped spotlight local businesses, events, and destinations that welcome dogs, according to Dunker.
Supporters can cast votes at petloverschoiceawards.com through Thursday.
