Whiskey & Woofs Brings an Eight-part Dog-Friendly Whiskey Series to Boulder City

For dog lovers looking for something a little different to do with their pups, Boulder City is serving up a unique combination of education, community, and canine companionship. The Bourbon Babe and Dam Dog House have teamed up to create Whiskey & Woofs, an eight-part series designed to help participants explore the world of whiskey while spending time in one of Southern Nevada’s most dog-friendly gathering spaces.

Whether you’re brand new to whiskey or already have a favorite bourbon on your shelf, the series offers an approachable way to learn more while enjoying an evening out with your four-legged best friend.

A Whiskey Class Where Dogs Are Welcome

One of the things that makes Whiskey & Woofs stand out is its location at Dam Dog House in Boulder City, a business known for creating a welcoming environment for both people and their pups.

Instead of leaving your dog at home, attendees are encouraged to bring their well-behaved canine companions along as they learn about whiskey styles, tasting techniques, distilleries, and cocktail applications. It’s a refreshing twist on the traditional tasting class and another example of how Southern Nevada businesses continue finding creative ways to include dogs in everyday experiences.

The Eight-Part Whiskey & Woofs Series

The series kicks off July 18, 2026, and continues through March 2027:

Each class runs from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is priced at $60 plus fees per session, bringing the total to just under $65 per class. Participants can attend individual classes or follow the entire series to build their whiskey knowledge over time.

A Different Kind of Dog-Friendly Night Out

While many dog-friendly events focus on festivals, markets, or fundraisers, Whiskey & Woofs offers something a little different. It’s an opportunity for dog owners to enjoy an educational experience, meet fellow pet lovers, and spend quality time with their pups in a welcoming social setting.

For those who have attended Dam Dog House’s popular whiskey tastings in the past, this expanded series takes things a step further, offering a structured journey through bourbon, rye, whiskey regions, cocktail applications, and the people shaping the industry.

Why We Love It

At Dog Friendly Las Vegas, we’re always excited to see businesses finding new ways to include dogs in experiences that traditionally wouldn’t be pet-friendly. Whiskey & Woofs does exactly that, combining learning, community, and canine companionship into a series that’s unlike anything else we’ve seen in Southern Nevada.

If you’ve been looking for a reason to plan a few trips to Boulder City over the coming months, this might be it.

As always, if you’re planning to attend, please drink responsibly and never drink and drive.
