Best of Las Vegas 2026 Nominations Open Soon: Celebrate Dog-Friendly Businesses

Las Vegas is known around the world for entertainment, dining, and unforgettable experiences, but the people and businesses that make the city special extend far beyond the Strip. Each year, the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas gives residents the opportunity to recognize the local businesses, organizations, and professionals that have made a difference in their communities.

The 2026 Best of Las Vegas presented by Naqvi Injury Law will open nominations on Monday, July 13 at 10 AM, giving Las Vegas residents the chance to nominate their favorite businesses, nonprofits, and services across more than 540 categories.

In 2025, more than 7,500 businesses competed across over 500 categories, with 1,042 winners earning Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards. The annual community-driven program highlights the dedication, service, and support that local businesses provide throughout Southern Nevada.

For Las Vegas’ growing dog community, the Best of Las Vegas nominations provide an opportunity to recognize the organizations, businesses, and professionals helping make the city a better place for pets and their people.

Dog-Related Categories to Consider

How Nominations Work

The nomination process is community-driven. Residents can nominate their favorite people, businesses, and organizations by selecting from 15 topic areas, including Services, Health & Wellness, Living Local, Things to Do, and more.

Nominating is simple: participants enter the name of a business or organization along with the city. Additional details, such as a phone number, address, or website, are encouraged to help verify nominees.

Only one nomination is needed for a qualified business or organization to be included on the ballot. Once nominations are finalized, voting will open and community members will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites.
