Earlier this year, Dog Friendly Las Vegas shared the news that nominations were opening for the 2026 Best of Las Vegas awards, encouraging the community to make sure the people, businesses, veterinary professionals, and nonprofits supporting animals across the valley were represented.

Now, it is time to vote.

The voting window for Best of Las Vegas 2026 is officially open, and voters can cast a ballot once per day through September 20th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Whether your favorite is the groomer who somehow gets your dog looking presentable again, the pet sitter you trust with your entire household, or the rescue doing lifesaving work for animals in need, this is the opportunity to help recognize them.

Plenty of Dog and Animal Favorites Are on the Ballot

This year’s ballot includes a wide range of pet and animal-related categories, including Pet Sitting, Animal Nonprofit, In-Home Pet Euthanasia, Pet Daycare/Boarding, Pet Grooming, and Veterinarian.

Among the nominees are many familiar names to the Dog Friendly Las Vegas community, including Little White Dog Co., High 5 Pet Care, K-9 Kountry, Wag & Play, Hearts Alive Village, Street Dogz, Barx Parx Foundation, Path to Furever Home, The Animal Foundation, A Home 4 Spot, Nevada SPCA, Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, Majestic Park Animal Hospital, Vegas Valley Pet Hospital, and many more.

The ballot includes a substantial number of businesses and organizations serving the local animal community, so be sure to explore the listings. You may discover that your favorite dog daycare, veterinarian, groomer, pet sitter, rescue, or animal nonprofit is eligible for your vote.

Your Vote Can Be Cast Every Day

Unlike a one-time ballot, Best of Las Vegas allows eligible voters to return and vote once each day through the September 20th deadline. That gives the community plenty of opportunities to support the businesses and nonprofits that make a difference for dogs and the people who love them.

Winners Will Be Announced in December

The 2026 Best of Las Vegas results will be shared through BestofLasVegas.com and published in the Best of Las Vegas print magazine on December 6th, 2026. Copies will also be available with the Las Vegas Review-Journal that same day.

From veterinary teams and pet care providers to the nonprofits working to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals, the Las Vegas area has no shortage of people doing important work for dogs and other pets. If one of them has earned your support, now is the time to make your vote count.
