East Las Vegas Is Getting a New Dog Park, and the Ribbon-Cutting Is June 4

The City of Las Vegas will hold a public ribbon-cutting for the East Las Vegas Family Dog Park at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 4. The park is located at 4484 E. Washington Ave.

The facility features three fenced dog runs, each equipped with landscaping, lighting, a shade structure, seating, and concrete walkways.

Two waterers and a perimeter fence are also part of the design.

“Many families living near the East Las Vegas Family Park asked for a dog-friendly space for their four-legged friends,” Las Vegas City Councilwoman Olivia Diaz said in a statement.

“I am thrilled that this project is now complete and ready for our residents and their dogs to enjoy.”

The community and their dogs are welcome to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony, reports News 3 Las Vegas, and mark the launch of the latest gated dog park in Las Vegas.
