Nevada SPCA Is Launching Its Seventh Annual Pet Calendar Contest, and Entries Open June 1
Published May 28, 2026
Nevada SPCA is kicking off its seventh annual pet calendar contest on June 1, giving Las Vegas area pet owners the chance to get their dogs, cats, and other animals featured in the organizationβs 2027 calendar while supporting homeless animals in the process.
The contest is sponsored by Findlay Toyota, with professional photography provided by Pet Project by Jess and custom artwork by Pretty Done.
As Fox5 Las Vegas reports, entries open Monday, June 1 and run through midnight on Sunday, June 14. The $20 entry fee guarantees your pet a spot on a collage page in the calendar, plus a copy of the finished 2027 calendar available for pick-up at the shelter.
Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and pet rats are all eligible. Your pet does not have to have been adopted from Nevada SPCA to enter.
The contest has three competitive categories: top 5 dogs, top 5 cats, and top 2 small pets.

Fill in the form and one of our Dog Friendly Las Vegas partners will reach out with your personalized insurance quote.
Winners in each category earn a mini professional photo session with custom artwork by Pretty Done, and that photo will be used for their featured month in the 2027 calendar.
Photoshoots are scheduled for July 13 through 15, 2026, and winners must be available during that window or they will forfeit their spot.
Online voting opens at midnight on Monday, June 15. Each vote costs $1, and all proceeds go toward care for homeless animals at Nevada SPCA.
A few rules to keep in mind: photos must feature only the pet, with no people included, and each entry may show only one pet. To submit a photo, head to gogophotocontest.com/nevadaspca.
