A coloring book may not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about animal welfare, but for Las Vegas nonprofit Street Dogz, it’s become a creative way to introduce children to compassion while raising funds to help pets and the people who love them.

Created by longtime Street Dogz volunteer Alexis Young, the Street Dogz Coloring Book brings the organization’s mission to life through hand-illustrated pages featuring dogs, other animals, and scenes inspired by the nonprofit’s work throughout Southern Nevada.

Better yet, every book purchased helps support that mission.

According to Street Dogz, proceeds from each coloring book sold go directly toward helping animals in need through the organization’s outreach programs.

A Mission Kids Can Color

Street Dogz has built its reputation on one simple belief: no one should have to surrender a beloved pet because they lack financial resources.

The nonprofit provides food, medical care, spay and neuter services, pet supplies, and other support for people experiencing homelessness and families facing hardship, helping keep pets healthy while preserving the bond between owners and their animals.

Rather than simply telling that story, the coloring book introduces younger audiences to the organization’s work in a way that’s both engaging and age appropriate.
