Las Vegas Yoga Class Lets You Stretch Alongside Adoptable Rescue Dogs on March 6
On Friday, March 6, The Animal Foundation will host Yoga for the Underdog, a 90-minute yoga class that blends gentle movement, breathwork, and full-body stretching with the heartwarming presence of rescue dogs waiting for homes. The class runs from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spa & Salon inside the Golden Nugget on Fremont Street and is limited to just 30 participants.
The concept is simple but powerful. As attendees move through a relaxed yoga flow, adoptable dogs from The Animal Foundation will be free to wander the room, curl up next to mats, or quietly observe the class. The presence of the dogs adds a calming, playful element to the session while also helping spotlight animals currently looking for their forever families.
Moments between poses can turn into something special: a curious puppy sniffing a yoga mat, a wagging tail during downward dog, or a rescue pup settling in beside (or jumping all over) someone during savasana. It’s a setting designed to lower stress, create connection, and remind participants why rescue dogs are so easy to fall in love with.

Tickets cost $35 per person, and advance registration is required since space is limited. Proceeds directly support The Animal Foundation’s work caring for thousands of animals each year while helping introduce some of their adoptable dogs to potential new families.
