Looking to Dine & Drink with a Purpose This Summer?

If you’re spending your summer in Las Vegas and want to do a little good while you’re out enjoying the city’s food and drink scene, you’re in luck. From late June through mid-July, several restaurants and breweries across the valley are hosting special events where a portion of what you spend will help local animal rescue groups.
Whether you’re craving a burger, a cold pint, or a spicy fried chicken sandwich, you’ll find an outing that lets you relax, have fun, and support lifesaving work for dogs and cats in need. Below, we’ve rounded up some of the feel-good gatherings coming up soon—just be sure to mark your calendar, bring a friend, and let your server know you’re there to help.
Slater’s 50/50
Let’s start with Slater’s 50/50, a casual spot known for over-the-top burgers and craft beers. On Thursday, June 26th, you can head over to their location near Lake Mead and Silverado Ranch anytime between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. to have a meal that makes a difference. All you need to do is show their fundraiser flyer—either on your phone or printed out—and 20% of your bill will be donated to Animal Help Alliance. This local nonprofit rescues some of the most vulnerable dogs in the valley and gives them the second chances they deserve. It’s an easy way to enjoy lunch or dinner knowing part of what you spend will go directly to saving lives.
Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar
If you’d rather unwind on a patio with your pup and maybe browse some raffle prizes, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar at Town Square is also hosting a special event on Thursday, June 26th. From 11 a.m. all the way until midnight, you can dine in and support PAWsitive Difference, another local group that works tirelessly to rescue and rehome at-risk dogs and cats. Just mention PAWsitive Difference to your server when you arrive, and 15% of your bill will be donated automatically. If you’d like to meet the rescue team and hang out with fellow supporters, stop by at 5:30 p.m. for a big group gathering. The evening will also feature raffles, adoptable dogs, gift cards, pet portraits, and more, so it’s a perfect way to turn a weeknight into something special.
VooDoo Brewing
Over at Town Square, VooDoo Brewing will keep the momentum going the following evening. On Friday, June 27th, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., you can swing by for an evening of drinks, good food, live music, and a selection of dog-friendly and eco-friendly products. A portion of proceeds from the night will benefit Paws Patrol LV, a rescue that provides care, fostering, and adoption services for local animals. There’s no flyer or mention required—just come ready to eat, sip, and shop, knowing your tab is helping fund lifesaving programs in Southern Nevada.
Dave’s Hot Chicken
Finally, if you’re a fan of Nashville-style heat, Dave’s Hot Chicken on Craig Road will be donating a share of sales to Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League. On Wednesday, July 16th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., you can grab dinner with a purpose by showing their fundraiser flyer at the register. Provided the event reaches a minimum threshold of $150 in total sales, 20% will go to SNARL to help fund vet care, adoptions, and rescue operations. It’s a delicious way to cap off your summer giving back to a cause that matters.
