North Las Vegas Pop-Up Event to Offer Homeless Services, Pet Resources, Medical Support and More

A wide range of community resources will be available in one location this May as North Las Vegas hosts the Motivational May Homeless Services Pop-Up Event at Tonopah Park.
Taking place today, May 13th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the event is designed to connect individuals and families with essential support services, including housing assistance, crisis intervention, healthcare resources, and pet-related support.
A Broad Range of Community Services
Organizers say attendees will have access to a variety of assistance programs and providers covering areas such as behavioral health, substance abuse services, transportation assistance, health insurance support, senior and disability services, youth services, clothing distribution, phones, reading glasses, medical care, and STD testing.
Pet resources will also be available onsite, reflecting the growing recognition that access to pet support can play an important role for individuals experiencing housing insecurity or financial hardship.
Multiple Organizations Participating
The event will feature support from a range of local organizations and service providers, including Hearts Alive Village, Pearle Vision, IHC, Genesis, and others working throughout Southern Nevada to provide direct assistance and outreach services.
By bringing multiple resources together in one location, the event aims to reduce barriers for individuals who may otherwise struggle to navigate or access available programs.
