The 5th Annual A Day in the Park brings the community together for a meaningful afternoon focused on sickle cell disease education, awareness, a memorial walk, and an on-site blood drive. Taking place April 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Craig Ranch Regional Park’s Garden Plaza, the event highlights learning, remembrance, and support for individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease.

Attendees can explore exhibitor booths, hear from guest speakers, enjoy live entertainment, and visit product and food truck vendors throughout the day. The event is dog-friendly with pets welcome on leash, and blood donors will have the opportunity to scan and register on site. Hosted by Bridging the Gap Sickle Cell Foundation of Nevada, this community-focused gathering blends education, connection, and outdoor fun in one inclusive setting.
