Historic Railroad Trail Warrior Hike

Join the Historic Railroad Trail Warrior Hike on Saturday, March 7, 2026, starting at 8:45 AM at the Historic Railroad Trail parking lot below the Lake Mead Visitor Center, 17 Lake Shore Rd, Henderson. Step off at 9:00 AM for a scenic, flat 7.5-mile round-trip hike featuring five massive historic tunnels and breathtaking views of Lake Mead. Hikers can go at their own pace with front and rear guides to ensure everyone stays on track.

This event is open to veterans, active duty service members, families, and supporters. Dogs are welcome on leash, making it a dog-friendly outing for all. Participants are encouraged to bring plenty of water, sun protection, sturdy shoes, flags, and any items to honor loved ones during the moment of reflection at the halfway point. This hike combines exercise, history, and remembrance in a meaningful and welcoming outdoor experience.
