Thanksgiving in Las Vegas always feels a little extra special — maybe it’s the cooler desert air, maybe it’s the smell of pies drifting through neighborhoods from Summerlin to Henderson, or maybe it’s the way our dogs curl up a little closer this time of year, sensing that the holiday season has officially begun.

This year, we’ve had the privilege of watching our city come together for dogs in ways big and small. From rescue events and adoption fairs to local fundraisers, pack walks, brewery meet-ups, dog-friendly markets, and those spontaneous chats with fellow dog lovers we meet along the way — we’re incredibly thankful for every single one of you who stopped by to say hello.

And to everyone who visits our website, sends us messages, checks our guides, or uses our resources to navigate life with a dog in Las Vegas — thank you. You’re the reason this community keeps growing and the reason we work so hard to make Dog Friendly Las Vegas the most trusted local resource for dog parents.

We’re especially grateful for the people behind the scenes: the rescue volunteers who show up at sunrise, the foster families who open their homes without hesitation, the vets and techs who keep our pets healthy, and the local businesses that always go out of their way to welcome dogs with open arms (and often biscuits).
