Pet Wellness Fair: Free Vaccines, Microchips and Supplies

The Animal Foundation of Las Vegas has announced their Pet Wellness Fair happening April 15th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Scheduled for CAWS Day (Community Animal Welfare Service Day), the team has partnered with Humane World for Animals, Hill’s Pet, Petco Love, 24 Pet and VCA to bring you this event offering free services to pets and their owners.
Onsite for the event, they’ll be offering free vaccines, free microchips and free pets’ supplies / food available through the Community Pet Food Pantry. Beginning at 9 a.m. staff and volunteers will be available to get attendees, and their pets signed up for the services needed. It’s suggested that you arrive early as services and food will be offered while supplies last and are on a first-come, first-served basis with it noted the line often forms before the event kick off.
Both cats and dogs are welcome at this event and the team requests that cats arrive in carriers and dogs remain on their leashes while at the event.
If you or someone you know has been struggling to afford seeing your pet vaccinated, please consider attendance or sharing this information with neighbors and friends. With the recent ordinance changes to Clark County area, aligning with the City of Las Vegas, microchips are also required for all pets residing in the vicinity so this event will be incredibly helpful to see those obtained.
The Animal Foundation of Las Vegas is committed to providing shelter, care and support for animals in need as well as supporting animals and people in the community with events such as this. Consider sharing a special Thank You with the team and its volunteers for their hard work in continuing to offer life-saving events and care to those in need.
