Adventure Awaits – January Group Classes Get Dogs Moving and Learning in Real-World Settings

For Las Vegas-area dog owners looking to combine training with exercise and socialization, two upcoming group classes are offering just that. The sessions, hosted by Blossom K9 Training and Grace Unleashed Dog Training, focus on helping dogs navigate distractions, build calm confidence, and practice real-world skills while staying active.

Leash Skills Class – Henderson, January 17th at 2 p.m.

This session emphasizes leash walking, staying in heel, dynamic turns, and redirecting off triggers. Dogs will practice focus and obedience in a controlled setting, giving owners practical tools for everyday walks and outings.

Adventure Edition Group Class – Boulder City, January 21st at 10 a.m.

Taking learning off the pavement, this class introduces trail etiquette, safe hiking strategies, and redirection techniques in an outdoor environment. Dogs and owners get to enjoy exercise, fresh air, and socialization while practicing skills that matter on trails and in nature.

How to Participate

Both classes are $15 per dog, with one dog per handler. Registration is available here. More information about the trainers and their approaches can be found at Blossom K9 Training and Grace Unleashed Dog Training.

While these classes provide structured coaching, they also highlight the value of getting dogs active, outdoors, and engaged with both people and other dogs. Learning in a dynamic, real-world environment can help improve confidence, social skills, and overall well-being for both dogs and their owners.
