Southern Nevada Beagle Rescue Partners with B.R.E.W. to Bring Beagles Home

(Beagle Rescue, Education & Welfare), a Maryland-based organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming beagles in need. With beagle populations increasing in shelters and rescues, many dogs face overcrowded conditions and uncertain futures. Through this partnership, SNBRF is helping provide a lifeline for these dogs, giving them a safe journey to Las Vegas and a chance at a forever home.
The Beagle Challenge
Beagles are one of the most commonly surrendered breeds, often due to their energetic nature, scent-driven behavior, and specialized care requirements. Shelters like B.R.E.W. are overwhelmed with intake, and without intervention, many dogs risk long stays in rescue or worse. SNBRF works year-round to provide foster homes, medical care, and adoption placement for beagles in Southern Nevada, helping reduce pressure on overburdened facilities across the country.
Upcoming Transport to Las Vegas
On February 3, 2026, SNBRF will rent a van and travel to Tennessee, where B.R.E.W. will meet them with at least 15 beagles. From there, the dogs will travel safely back to Las Vegas, ready to be welcomed into loving homes. This long-distance transport is crucial to connecting beagles in high-intake regions with families eager to adopt locally.
