Nevada SPCA’s 2027 Calendar Contest Is Now Open for Voting

Voting in Nevada SPCA’s seventh annual pet calendar contest opened at midnight on Monday, June 15, giving Las Vegas area residents the chance to help determine which pets appear in the organization’s 2027 calendar.

Each vote costs $1, and all proceeds go directly toward the care of homeless animals at Nevada SPCA. Supporters can cast votes at here.

The contest has three competitive categories: top 5 dogs, top 5 cats, and top 2 small pets.

Winners in each category will earn a mini professional photo session with custom artwork by Pretty Done, and their photo will be used for a featured month in the 2027 calendar.

Photoshoots are scheduled for July 13 through 15, 2026. Winners must be available during that window or they will forfeit their spot.

The contest is in its second phase following an entry period that ran from June 1 through June 14.

As we reported when the contest launched, the $20 entry fee guarantees pets a spot on a collage page in the calendar and a copy of the finished 2027 edition.

The contest is sponsored by Findlay Toyota, with professional photography provided by Pet Project by Jess.

Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and pet rats were all eligible to enter.

Your pet does not need to have been adopted from Nevada SPCA to participate, and pets still in the running do not need to be Nevada SPCA animals.
