Paws In Charge Hosts End-of-Summer Surf & Turf Bark B-Que on September 5
Published August 31, 2026
Paws In Charge will host a Surf & Turf Bark B-Que for Las Vegas dogs and their owners on Saturday, September 5.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the pet supply storeβs Summerlin location, 4245 South Grand Canyon Drive, Suite 125.
The gathering is billed as an end-of-summer celebration built around a menu made for dogs. Organizers say it will include an array of meat and seafood options, along with curated treat bags for guests to take home.
The event falls on the Saturday before Labor Day, giving owners a chance to stock up on treats ahead of the holiday weekend. It is also a chance to socialize dogs of any size in a store setting rather than outdoors for the full visit.
Temperatures in the Las Vegas valley are still climbing into the upper 90s and low 100s in early September.
Weβve previously outlined heat safety guidance from a local veterinarian for owners planning outdoor time with their dogs this time of year.
Paws In Charge is a locally owned pet supply store in Summerlin that sells natural foods, treats, and grooming products, according to its website.
The store has hosted several dog meetups this year, including a Fourth of July cookout called Bark-B-Que Summer Edition and an earlier Bark-B-Que Social in May.
Details on the Surf & Turf Bark B-Que, including updates and directions, are available on the our events calendar.
