Dogs Take Over Cornerstone Park For Henderson’s Bark In The Park on March 7

Cornerstone Park will transform into a four-hour dog lover’s paradise on March 7, with $25 adoptions, splash zones, stunt shows, and plenty of treats for pups and their humans.
Dog owners in Southern Nevada are being invited to leash up and head to Cornerstone Park on Saturday, March 7, 2026, for the return of Bark In The Park.
Running from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 1600 Wigwam Parkway, the free community event promises hours of canine-focused entertainment, adoption opportunities, food vendors, and interactive experiences, all designed with dogs front and center.
A Full Day Built Around Dogs
Bark In The Park is unapologetically about celebrating the bond between humans and our four-legged best friends.
The schedule includes high-energy performances from the Canine Stars Stunt Dogs, K-9 demonstrations from the Henderson Police Department, pet showcases, games for dogs and their owners, and a dedicated hydration and splash-and-play area to help pups stay cool in the desert sun.

There will also be photo opportunities, free caricatures, and a DJ-led kickoff to get tails wagging from the start.
Pup Cups, Dog Meals And Splash Zones
Dogs are welcome throughout the event, provided they are leashed, vaccinated, and well enough to attend.
Organizers are encouraging owners to bring water, limit communal drinking, and avoid socializing dogs that may be uncomfortable around unfamiliar pets.

The popular Pup Cup Station will be available while supplies last, and at least one vendor is offering a dedicated “PupperMeal” complete with grilled chicken, whipped cream, a Milk-Bone pup cup, and even a tennis ball toy.
Between splash areas, shaded seating, and hydration stations, the layout appears designed to keep pets as comfortable as possible during the entirely outdoor event.
Food, Vendors And A Farmer’s Market Bonus
Food vendors ranging from tacos and funnel cakes to specialty coffee and loaded hot dogs will be onsite, alongside a beer option for those looking to make an afternoon of it.
The park’s regular Farmer’s Market will also be open.
Pet-focused market vendors will offer training services, dog apparel, fresh food recipes, natural chews, emergency veterinary resources, and rescue merchandise.
Adoption Opportunities
Through Animal Protection Services, attendees can apply to adopt a dog for $25 (cash or check only), offering a low-cost pathway for families considering adding a new furry member to their household.
Local rescue groups and nonprofits will also be on hand with adoptable dogs and information about foster programs, service dog training, and volunteer opportunities.
Parking, Shuttles And What To Know
Parking at Cornerstone Park is limited, but complimentary shuttle service will run throughout the event from RC Willey at 20 N. Stephanie Street between 9:30 AM and 2:15 PM.
Because this is a fully outdoor event, attendees are advised to bring sunshade, folding chairs, blankets, snacks, and plenty of water.

All pets must remain on a leash, and owners are expected to clean up after their animals.
There is no RSVP required, entry is free, and vendor applications have already closed — though the event page may offer last-minute updates.
